I’m so thankful for the Lord’s provision of just what you needed, Brianna!❤️ . “Because play not only gives us joy and opportunity to worship in the good times, but it can be a salve God provides to us in our grief.” So beautifully said. Thank you for sharing. Sent with our love and prayers.

I totally agree. God knows what we need when we're hurting inside. It's usually something we have a previous connection with. So glad you found your's when you neede it most. God bless!

What beautiful grace from God to read this! I don’t know how to swim (!?), but the piano and clicks of the knitting needles are those glimmers of His loving heart as I learn to give myself grace in my grief and loss. Thank you, sister in Christ.

I'm sorry for you own grief and suffering. I love that knitting and piano have been such a balm to you from the Lord though. So much can be said about music in suffering. Thanks for your kind words and for reading!

So beautiful! He is close to the broken hearted. I experienced that today with an unexpected kayak and prayer time with a friend. I didn’t even know what was bothering me until we talked. Praising God for lifting burdens and speaking to our souls!
